One of the most breathtaking hikes in Mallorca’s Tramuntana Mountains, with a route that feels like both a challenge and a reward.
Originally, we set out planning to complete the full 11.5 km loop - but after a steep and rapid elevation gain on a rocky, rugged path, paired with jaw-dropping views that kept stopping us in our tracks, we ended up choosing the shorter 6.5 km route instead. It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly and had everything we could’ve asked for: serenity, adventure, and scenery that photos barely do justice.
The trail kicks off just outside of Valldemossa and quickly climbs through forested terrain and exposed rock, offering sweeping vistas over the coastline and the surrounding mountains. After gaining elevation, we reached an incredible lookout—one of those pinch-me kind of views—where we paused for a picnic. Sitting up there, surrounded by silence and scenery, it felt like time slowed down for a while.
